The case for accepting disorder

We will never get to the bottom of it. One virtue most modern people could stand to cultivate: looking in the mirror, seeing our vices, our virtues and our sweet, melancholy, guilty entanglements—and simply shrugging. Let God sort it out.

  1. Love it, and may I add that it is truly Incarnational. Jesus Christ himself walked among our mess. He healed those who turned to him but did not “fix” every little thing that that he saw wrong with the world around him. He allowed for the grace found in the midst of free will, sanctifying our “imperfections” by granting us the mercy found in appreciating other peoples’ passion for cardboard and tape.
